JOIN US TO CELEBRATE TREES, POLLINATORS, AND MORE!
This event is an Official Roots & Wings Festival Pop-Up Event. Roots & Wings Festival is a two-week long citywide combined celebration of Arbor Day and Monarch Appreciation Day, presented by the City of Austin.
Join Red Salmon Arts for a virtual cuento time exploring some of our favorite bilingual stories that center nature!
We will be reading Senorita Mariposa by Ben Gundersheimer & Call Me Tree/ Llámame Árbolby Maya Christina Gonzalez. Families and Children will be encouraged to stop by during the weekend to make an ofrenda on our community altar and to pick up a copy of a book, along with other goodies that explore and highlight the importance of pollinators in our community and explore our cultural connection to nature.
