Auntie Kristina’s Guide to Asian American Activism

5:00 PM, Saturday, 7 November 2026

Sponsored by Café Librito and Touring Writers Series, projects of Red Salmon Arts

Building on the success of the award-winning web series, Radical Cram School, Auntie Kristina’s Guide to Asian American Activism brings fun, thoughtful, and revolutionary ideas into a book for young people! Explore the power of identities, revolution, and social justice to explore Asian American history, activism, power, and community through activities, games, and stories.

Auntie Kristina’s Guide to Asian American Activism discusses the Asian American community, past and present; explores allyship with other communities of color; finds a place in national and global movements; and turns inward so young readers can practice love and self-care.

Author Kristina Wong and illustrator Theodore Chao will be in the house at Resistencia for this family friendly book signing.
