DESCRIPTION:Join us for FREE youth summer workshops led by our brilliant partner Institute of Chicana/o/x Psychology and Community Wellness \nThis workshop is geared towards ages 13-17 and will take place on June 18th\, June 25th\, and July 2nd from 1:00pm-2:00pm. \nThe Institute is a community-building entity focused on wellness and strengths of the Chicana/o/x community through the lens of Chicana/o/x Psychology & Mesoamerican wisdom. In our work\, we address the risk factors and protective factors related to the wellness of the Chicana/o/x community\, including historical factors of oppression as well as ancestral strengths and wisdom. \n“Identity\, Wounds & Healing – (Re)connecting to Our Own Brown Wellness” will be a circle where we intentionally deepen our understanding of our collective cultural wisdom while we address the individual and community struggles and pains we experience on our path to wellness.
