The film is based on raúl’s poem “Un Trip through the Mind Jail\,”  in which he recalls his coming of age  in East Austin’s La Loma neighborhood.  He shares his journey in this innovative split screen improvisation underscored by jazz  and his poetry of liberation. \nJoin us for the film screening (25 minutes) & conversation with the Filmmakers.
