May Day/ El Día del Trabajo + PODER 25th Anniversary

Austin May Day celebration brought to you by the Austin Beloved Community coalition, in partnership with PODER (People Organized in Defense of Earth and her Resources), who are celebrating their 25th year anniversary!

Free food, children’s area, music and poetry!

Brónze Band is back again this year, along with Fandango Tejas, Steve Brooks, and the East Side Memorial High School Jazz Band. Katie will open with the Internationale and we’ll have poetry from activists Mariann Wizard and Skylar Bonita.

DJ set from 5 pm-6. PODER film showing at 6. Music starts at 6:30.
